Kidnapped Famous singer Ghulam Nabi aka Jigar Jalal and his team has been released and was shifted to Regional Police Office Sukkur instead of SSP office Shikarpur, where, in Sukkur, Additional Inspector General of Police (AIGP) Dr Jameel Ahmed claimed that the recovery of team was made owing to exerted police pressure on dacoits and now police were concentrating on arresting the killers of martyred Khanpur Deputy Superintendent of Police Rao Shafiullah, who embraced martyrdom during an operation Katcha area of Garhi Tegho to rescue kidnapped singer when out of nowhere encounter took place between dacoits and police party, which resulting, the DSP Khanpur embraced martyrdom in the nick of time and one police cop sustained bullet wounds, adding no one would be left and dacoits would be arrested for the welfare of the people of Sindh mainly Shikarpur, AIG Police said.
Jigar Jalal, the released famous singer, advised the other singers to avoid attending programs through accepting money via easy paisa mobile account for their safety.
Napar-Kot police have already lodged an FIR [31/2019] on the complaint of Imtiaz Ahmed Khuhawar, the SHO aforesaid PS, on the behalf of state, regarding kidnapping a team of musician including famous singer Jagar Jalal for getting ransom money under various sections including antiterrorism act at above mentioned police station.
It is worthwhile to mention here that a famous singer of Sindh and his team held hostages / detained by a few unknown Teghani community persons when famous singer Jigir Jalal was called to perform in the wedding ceremony held at Katcha area of Napar-Kot while advance payment was made through easy paisa account after receiving payment singer reached at the desired venue and he along with his team held hostage in the limits of Napar-Kot police station of district Shikarpur.
It is also noteworthy that a separate FIR [30/2019] on the complaint of Imtiaz Khuhawar, the SHO Naparkot PS, on the behalf of state, has also been registered against at least one and half dozen suspects including Wahid, Imran, Khoso Teghani, Sukhio, Sonaro, Mumtaz, Belo, and others all of Teghani by caste at Napar-Kot Police Station for their involvement of killing the DSP Khanpur and injuring police cop during an encounter took place at Katcha Area of Garhi Tegho, riverine area of Khanpur tehsil of district Shikarpur under various sections including Antiterrorism act.
The Inspector General [IG] of Police Dr Syed Kaleem Imam is likely to visit the house of Shaheed DSP Rao Shafiullah to express his condolence with bereaved family members in Sukkur and also posted Dr Muhammad Rizwan Ahmed Khan as new SSP Shikarpur to overcome the situation of law and order in Shikarpur which has been deteriorating for a long and directed Ameer Sajid Sadoozi, the SSP Shikarpur, to report to Central Police Office Karachi.
On 2nd June of 2019, Ghulam Murtaza Mirani, the SHO, resident of Khairpur Mirs district, and the ASI Zulfikar Ali Panhwar, resident of Shikarpur district, embraced martyrdom and four police cops sustained profound bullet wounds in an encounter with dacoits besides one Armored Carrier Chain [APC] driver named Zulfikar Ali Abbassi, resident of Sukkur, has embraced martyrdom and his other APC driver sustained grave bullet wounds in an attack carried out by dacoits at the Katcha area of Chak on 16 July of 2019.
